Poem: “No Real Meaning, Maybe, but Hurry, Before the Curtains are Drawn”

“No Real Meaning, Maybe, but Hurry, Before the Curtains are Drawn”

Life is beautiful.

Even with the scars,

Even with the traces of dirt and blood in my fingernails,

I am still,

Like the sky.

Life brings murder,

And steals our joy

While stroking our pain

So,

I will keep dancing like a fool in love

Until everyone claps

And the cast does their bow.
